The name
We are of course aware that the name no tourist info may seem a little misleading at first glance. You might think that we don't want to support tourists or that we don't welcome them. But quite the opposite. Over the last 10 years, we have done our best to make visitors happy and show them the city through our eyes. We chose the name no tourist info quite deliberately and also provocatively because it expresses what our urban project really is: an honest and unadulterated view of the city we grew up in. With our many years of experience in the upscale hotel industry and our love for this city, we do not stand for the classic tourist information office on Alexanderplatz, which often refers to the same overcrowded spots and sightseeing tours. Instead, we offer an authentic, honest city experience that you will never forget.

The difference
Standard tourist information is also geared towards the standard program. We all know it from some kind of vacation. They give you flyers for popular attractions, entrance tickets, city maps or information about city tours. Of course, this is exactly what many travelers need, we don't question that. But they often remain superficial and only show the shiny facade that you usually already know from postcards. They often ignore the soul of the city, the special features and also the peculiarities. But isn't that what makes the city so special and popular? A look behind the scenes? No tourist info takes exactly this approach. We are not interested in promoting another standard sight that is in every run-of-the-mill city guide. We want visitors, Berliners by choice and Berliners to enjoy authentic city life and get an impression of real Berlin life - away from the tourist crowds. It is the moments in the cafe, the neighborhoods, hidden backyards, the market halls and conversations with locals that really make the city. Independence
Unlike most tourist guides, we rely on honest recommendations, personal experience and real stories. It's not about commissions or other dependencies that ensure that a certain restaurant or cafe is recommended. I speak from experience, most of the big city guides you know do exactly that. For us, personality and urbanity are the main focus. It's about honest representation of our city and its authentic culture. Our guests can enjoy the city because, thanks to no tourist info, they have the opportunity to get involved. They are curious and absorb the real atmosphere that makes the city so world-famous.
