Informationsstand mit der Aufschrift: "Berlin - No tourist info" in schwarz-weiß.

The name

I'm aware, of course, that the name "no tourist info" might seem a bit misleading at first glance. One might think that we don't want to support tourists or don't welcome them. But quite the opposite!

Over the past 12 years, we have done our best in the upscale hotel industry to make our guests happy and show them Berlin through our eyes.

The selection

We deliberately and provocatively chose the name "no tourist info" because it expresses what our urban project truly represents: an honest and unadulterated view of the city we grew up in. With our many years of experience in the upscale hotel industry and our love for this city, we're not the typical tourist information office at Alexanderplatz that always recommends the same overcrowded places. Instead, we offer genuine insider tips from the heart, giving you an authentic, honest city experience you won't forget.

The difference

Standard tourist information centers also offer standard programs. We're all familiar with this from our vacations. They give you flyers for popular attractions, admission tickets, city maps, or information about city tours.

Of course, this is exactly what many travelers need, and we don't question that. But they often remain superficial, showing only the shiny facade we're usually familiar with from postcards. They often ignore the soul of the city, its peculiarities and idiosyncrasies. But isn't that what makes the city so special and popular? A daring look behind the scenes?

Our approach

No tourist info follows precisely this approach. It's not just another run-of-the-mill city guide! We want visitors, residents, and even Berliners to enjoy authentic city life and get a glimpse of real Berlin life – away from the tourist crowds.

It's the moments in the cafe, the neighborhoods, hidden courtyards, the market halls, and conversations with locals that truly define the city. Read more in our blog "Moments not Fridge Magnets."

Independence

Unlike most travel guides, we rely on honest recommendations, personal experience, and real stories from different generations in this city. We're not interested in commissions from recommended places or the best image of Berlin.

We prioritize personality, community, and urbanity. It's about honestly representing our city and its authentic culture.

A change of perspective

Even we Berliners sometimes need a change of perspective on our own city. Guests of no tourist info can enjoy Berlin in a different, new way because they get involved. Our guests know where and how real life pulsates. They are curious, eager to discover new things, and want to experience for themselves what makes the city so world-famous. You can find out why we never talk about customers, but always about guests, here .

No tourist info stands for individual experiences that immerse you in the real life of the city.
